Chuck Norris starred in the 1984 action film “Missing in Action”, where he played the role of Colonel James Braddock, a Special Forces operative who escaped from a Vietnamese POW camp. The movie follows Braddock’s mission to locate and rescue remaining American prisoners of war (POWs) and MIAs (Missing in Action) in Vietnam.
Plot
The film begins with Braddock’s daring escape from the POW camp, where he was subjected to brutal treatment and torture. After his escape, Braddock returns to the United States, where he is reunited with his former Army buddy, M. Emmet Walsh. Braddock learns that many American soldiers are still listed as MIA and decides to return to Vietnam to find them.
